Study abroad V.S. Missions trip

I want to ether study abroad or go on a missions trip this year and I've been praying about witch one the Lord wants me to do.  Both would be great experiences and applicable to my live as an Anthropology major but there are a lot of factors I have to weigh.  So please be praying for guidance and that what ever I do God would proved the money.  

The Simple Things

This weekend was my Birthday and I went back home to San Diego.  I didn't hangout with any of my friends, I didn't get and awesome present like a car, but surprisingly I had on of the best birthdays ever.  I got to spend the entire day with my family and not just my immediate but my grandparents as well.  It realized that the simple things are the things that actually matter the most and I wouldn't of asked for anything else on my 20th Birthday.

The Dessert

Right now I'm descending the mountain top (spiritual high) and I'm entering the dessert. I know this is when my relationship with God is put to the test. So pray for me as I walk through this dry time that I would continue to nurture my spirit and that they Lord will lead me to the oasis.
